# Close/Reopen

The administrators can manage the status of a job by using the **Delete**, **Close** and **Reopen** options in **Action** menu in the **Hiring Module**.

This feature helps administrators efficiently control the availability and lifecycle of job postings.

* **Delete Job:** If a job has no candidates, it can be deleted normally.
* **Close Job:** If a job has candidates/assessments taken, it cannot be deleted, and will be prompted to **Close** it instead.
* **Reopen Job:** Allows the administrator to reopen a previously closed job posting if additional hiring is required or the position becomes available again. Closed jobs can be **Reopened** from the Actions menu. Once reopened, the job becomes active and candidates can apply.
